We hired Personal Chef Lindy to create a menu and prepare and serve a dinner to celebrate a 25th wedding anniversary while we were on a family holiday in Orlando. She suggested a couple themes and together we decided on a Florida-inspired menu. From our initial correspondence to our first meeting we knew Lindy was the perfect chef for this special occasion. She spent countless hours in advance of our December 22nd party – visiting the house to check-out amenities, to shopping (from sourcing fresh fish to picking fresh key limes), to infusing honey-grapefruit vodka for a signature cocktail and preparing much of the food in advance. The evening started early with a demonstration on how to prepare crab/cheese/jalapeno hushpuppies which were then served with two other delicious appetizers. With the assistance of her sous chef Hilary, Lindy served an amazing braised octopus & chickpea salad; perfectly prepared guava-glazed mahi-mahi together with a bowl of savory shrimp and grits and two delicious side dishes. The evening finished with two decadent desserts (plated beautifully) and a homemade banana and mango rum aperitif. The food was amazing! Lindy and Hilary were well organized, extremely professional and most of all great fun! By the end of the evening they were like part of our family. My husband and I have hosted a number of dinners and have had several parties catered – this was by far the best. We only wish we lived in Orlando so that Lindy could cater more of our dinners. We would highly recommend Lindy and we look forward to meeting her again in our future travels.

I was lucky enough to host a cooking class/dinner party with Lindy recently. I had homemade unsweet chocolate from a farm in Ecuador, and Lindy taught me how to make it into an unbelievably delicious and intricate molè sauce, a recipe which she developed from her molè experiences traveling throughout Oaxaca. She has a wealth of food knowledge and experience from around the globe that she shares with great patience, generosity and some humor thrown in for spice. Lindy creates with diverse flavors in her palate and with local and healthy ingredients in the foreground. You will thank yourself for hiring her!

I hosted an interactive cocktail party for 12 people in honor of my birthday. The event was unique, impressive, and so much fun thanks to Creative Culinary Concepts. I was beyond thrilled with the outcome! There were several stations set up throughout areas of my home, each featuring a hand-crafted cocktail and food pairing. Guests moved around from station to station, participating in mixology, while socializing and eating fabulous food. My friends are still raving about their experience! The caterer was so creative and easy to work with - she offered up a variety of suggestions based on her rich culinary history, while incorporating my vision into every detail. Her knowledge & expertise were evident from the beginning...she is a true professional. This was an amazing experience from start to finish. Worth every penny!!! Here's an overview of the menu: Craft cocktail 1: Cardamon Side Car Coordinating Tapas: Homemade naan with a curried chickpea salad and a cucumber and mint raita Spice Elements: Indian/Cardamon Craft cocktail 2: Archangel Coordinating Tapas: Thai roasted chicken salad with chilis and roasted peanuts Spice Elements: Thai/Lime Craft cocktail 3: A Modern take on a Manhattan Coordinating Tapas: Phyllo pastry cups filled with goat cheese, roasted red peppers, spinach and topped with toasted pistachios and a pomegranate sauce Spice Element: Anisette/Middle East Craft cocktail 4: Hibiscus Citrus Martini Coordinating Tapas: Salmon ceviche with grapefruit segments, arugula, and fresh herbs Spice Element: Mexican/hibiscus & citrus Assorted crackers, meats, breads, olive station paired w/ wine Dessert Station: gluten-free dark chocolate truffles and turtles; banana fritters with a lime syrup

The garden club thanks you so much for the excellent catering job you did for us. We especially want to thank you for working with us so that we were able to use some of the in-season organic vegetables from our own gardens. It seemed like such a strange mix of vegetables: okra, cherry tomatoes, sweet potatoes, and eggplants. But that's what grows in a Florida summer garden! Your sauces were what made it all so heavenly. The garlic coriander sauce for the eggplant was my favorite. The pickled vegetable spring rolls were also wonderful. Serving a fresh vegan meal that is tasty is a challenge. You exceeded our expectations.

Lindy catered my birthday party with light snacks and specialty cocktails—all of which were fantastic—and thought of all the things to go along (plates, napkins, cups, etc). Generally a very thoughtful, enthusiastic, reliable person, so I would definitely ask her again!
