Services are available to residents in states including Florida, Alabama, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. All services are not available in all areas. Visit us online or contact our intake center today. Please note that our network consists of volunteer paralegals and attorneys. We refer clients to these professionals for complicated issues, issues requiring specific licenses or those not handled by our small team. Our team is volunteer only, and many services are free of charge.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    Our volunteer paralegals are licensed when required and/or possess a comparable amount of education. Depending on the field (bankruptcy, consumer advocates, divorce, child/family) providers are licensed and/or educated on the subject and hold a variety of certificates in various fields.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    Preparing paperwork, drafting letters, assisting pro se litigants, notary public, criminal expungements.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Weigh all of your options! Low cost and free services like Equal Access, usually have waiting lists so you should apply as early as possible. Also, make sure you are comfortable with the person you are working with. (We provide licensing information on all of our providers who are required to have them) Check the internet and public records for complaints against attorneys, paralegals or similar providers before using their services.
