FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on 3 things. 1) Daily updated national pricing quote program for professionals. 2) Time and skill it will approximately take me to complete said task. 3) Client repeat business and referrals. The program I use for quotes is national based, they do give you your areas high and low prices. i ALWAYS stay to the lower side. My extensive knowledge of such a wide area of home improvements means i have done the job or can assume and calculate pretty easy to measure my time and skill. Repeat business is a HUGE part if my success. But to explain why involved in pricing consider this. A new customer has a quote by me for recessed can lights for $200. Now an existing customer who I've seen 3 times last month calls.me for same quote. His price is only $140. I make excellent money at my day job, i dont need to hassle my clients. Upfront pricing thats low considering the excellent work you get.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With a new customer I feel being comfortable is very important. I do alot of custom work. And if a customer is not comfy they won't be open about their ideas or asking you to do something "outside the box". The entire reason we meet is to make YOUR IDEAS come true FOR YOU! remember that.
