My wife hired David from Beacon a few months ago, and if you ask me, she didn't give him quite a fair shake. She can be kind of demanding. Her review is below, but let me tell you what David has done for us since:
He refunded her money because of how unhappy she was and because the problem had not been solved. He also explained clearly how he was going to change the way he did business so that the things that legitimately went wrong would not happen to the next person. Then, although he knew she would not be allowed to edit her (very negative) review, he came to our home on a Saturday morning and not only sincerely apologized and got his hands dirty in our rat infested attic, but also provided professional guidance to us, gratis.
Because of that, we've hired him again. This is because over the next few months, together with my wife, we attempted to hire other pestcontrol companies and have not been pleased--it is damn near impossible to find one that will be as honest, thorough, and diligent as Beacon has been since we hired them again.
Here's what you can expect: David, the owner, will come to your first appointment and make sure you understand what the recommendation is for the best possible result. He will also tell you if there are alternatives that might provide a satisfactory result (exclusion is EXPENSIVE no matter who does it, but Beacon will give you a far longer warranty than anyone else we interviewed, and they do not require that you sign up for a monthly maintenance program like some companies do). If you want bait stations, David will review the options for you--different baits have different toxicity, and if you have pets, you might be concerned about what could happen if your pet gets ahold of a poisoned rat. David knows his stuff on this topic.
From then on, if they're doing trapping for you, you can expect a tech to come to your house weekly to check the traps and remove anything they've caught. These guys will be neat and clean, they are polite and professional, and from what we've seen, there's not a creep or a fast talker in the bunch. We dealt with another company that was always trying to upsell and find a way to charge more. Beacon doesn't do that.
David is going to keep working with you until your problem is solved, even if you are a pain in his ass like my wife was. I think the biggest reason you should hire this company is because of the INTEGRITY with which they operate. Lots of people are good at cashing checks, but fall short where the rubber meets the road. David clearly cares about his CUSTOMERS and NOT just his bottom line or even his reputation. My wife does feel bad that she may have had a hand in tarnishing that reputation, and David acknowledges that her initial experience was not up to his standards. We are so glad to be working with Beacon again, and we urge you to do so as well.

Spoke to David at a length about the pest problems and he explained very well what needs to be done. He worked with my budget as well. Just got the initial service done. Now will see if it’s really working or not.
I'm really pleased with the work done by this company. All of my pest issues were solved. I highly recommend them and I will use it without doubt again. David, Rolando and the other technicians were really responsive to all my needs.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We make sure we always put all of our customers first. We spend the time in answering any questions they have and we make sure and educate them with everything they can personally do to help in the process. With Pest Control and Wildlife Trapping, it is on us to solve the problem, but we also see that if the customer does their part when we educate them on what to do, the results are exactly what the customer hopes and expects from us. If we both work as a team, then we can rid the home of the pests that are bothering them so much. We provide an extremely thorough service that customers really are wowed and impressed with.
