I wall mounted 2 televisions and soundbars for Douglas. I made 2 mistakes on the 2nd one. First, I did not show up prepared for mounting on drywall with concrete behind it. He claimed he told me but somehow I missed that information. Douglas went to the hardware store while I was working on other things to purchase the appropriate screws. Next is what upset Douglas most, and very visibly. After mounting the 2nd TV it was time to mount the 2nd soundbar. I made a bad measurement on the anchor/screw placement for the soundbar. I was off by almost 1/4”. I was able to bend the screws slightly so that the end result was completely stable and aesthetically correct. Still, it was a mistake, unacceptable, and not how things should be done. Douglas has every right to be upset with me for that. I felt very bad and told him to forget the agreement we had and just pay whatever he thought was fair but he paid the agreed amount. I offered on 2 occasions to go back another day to either correct the issue or do some other job for him at no cost but he did not take me up on it. I stand behind my work and if I make a mistake I want to make it right. I have so far been unable to do so in this case but I will try again. My sincere apologies to Douglas.
