FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I pay attention to detail and if the work takes longer so be it. If your happy I’m happy. Don’t be afraid to set your expectations for your yard. I prefer a customer that wants weekly service because that’s the only way you will have a lawn you love.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I’ve been maintaining my own lawn my whole life a few years ago I had neighbours approach me about their properties. I offered to help and it has grown from there. I did work with a maintenance company to learn some tricks of the trade. I found they had lots of customers but they didn’t seem to care about the customer only the money so I went back to doing it on my own.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I had a customer that was so upset with how poorly their lawn and yard looked. They were thinking of replacing all the sod. I explained to them what I felt the issues were and addressed them. It’s been several months since that first conversation and they now have a yard they are so happy with and they never replaced the sod.
