Introduction: My services are recognized not only for their quality of teaching but also the relationships I build with my clients. I am always flexible and looking for new strategies to help my clients meet their goals. I have had awesome experiences tutoring students face-to-face, online, and via text messages. I worked for and with Liz Washington for 5 years. She is beyond doubt the most dedicated teacher of mathematics. She often would speak of her difficulties learning mathematics. Those statements were not only for encouraging students but also for herself in saying 'I made it so can you!' In her classroom she would instruct students in working to their strengths. She embodies what all would say is a true educator. I began working with her, team teaching, in my second year at Valencia. We were paired for two years over five semesters. My experience with this professor is relating to Math. I have taken college math at two different local colleges. In both cases, I took a math course online. I want to note I am a single mom of two small children and work full time. My math skills are not the best, so I took remedial math to try and brush up on some of my skills. This professor takes her subject to a whole new level. She not only offers that stuff you need to take, she also adds helpful videos that she records via a tube link. For a working young older or just busy personal this is a resource you WILL not find! Math is a really hard subject for some folks, I can find math subjects all over the internet but the process you might see may not fit an academic approach, or the shortcuts may, in fact, lead to the wrong answer. This process shows the process start to finish and leaves it in a way that you can get to it over and over again. Whether you work with this professor at a school or hire her for training, you will not only get the well-taught lesson you will have the ability to learn at your pace and be able to access the materials after hours, this is a benefit more teaching folks need to offer. Mrs. Washington tutored my daughter in math. She was struggling with 7th grade math, and after the first session I could definitely see an improvement in my daughters abilities. She gave my daughter a few different approaches to figure out each problem! I was so please my daughter knew what she was doing and most importantly had a new confidence to move forward. I highly recommend her for anyone's tutorings needs. Professional, and courteous.

I was great full enough to be tutored by Mrs. Liz. She goes at your pace and helps you understand the each step and every rule in a way that you understand what your doing. On top of that she offered to help tutor me and we do it at my brothers football practices she makes it very convenient.

I am a middle school student who was struggling with math. I received tutoring services through FaceTime since I don't live close. She was extremely helpful and for over and hour she went through many issues with me. She also directed me to further tools to use, such as some YouTube videos she has. I very much enjoyed the FaceTime aspect, at first I didn't think it would work but it was awesome. I recommend her for tutoring services! She didn't make me fell dumb and spoke to me like a friend. Thank you.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I believe that my time and talents are valuable but I am also very accomadating and reasonable. I am willing to work with each client in an individual basis.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to spend some time getting to know my new clients as well as give a short needs assessment. This would typically be followed by an individualized plan that we would both agree on before any services are provided.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.S. in Mathematics as well as a M.Ed. In Instructional technology. I have been teaching face-to-face, hybrid, and online classes for 12 years at local community colleges and high schools.
