Gracias Claire! I love our lessons, too. Your husband has already learned how to say several phrases. He told me that he's greeting people in Church in Spanish now!

My 16 yr old son is working really well with Sarah and she is helping him not just understand his HS Spanish but actually start to like and find it easier than he thought. Highly recommend.Feb 11, 2021Verified

Mrs.Mabal was an excellent teacher and I throughly enjoyed working with her .She worked at a pace I could comfortably learn at and was perfectly accommodating when i needed to go over a portion of the lesson again. I honestly would not have managed to make it through my online schooling without her guidance and I would be enthusiastic to be her student again .Jan 22, 2021Verified

Sarah is great! Easy to work with. She individualized my Spanish lessons with things that work for me! She is very aware, adaptive, and understanding to her students need. She is a master teacher!Jan 12, 2021Not your typical Spanish Teacher's reply

I first found Sarah 3 years ago on a recommendation of another parent in my son's high school whose student was also struggling to keep up with Spanish 2. We found Sarah before mid term, so we had plenty of time to get his grade up -- and it went up to an A (from failing!). One review lesson per week was all he needed to get -- and especially, STAY - caught up while also laying a great language skills foundation. I was thinking about brushing up my own Spanish 'skills' and will contact Sarah to do that when I have more free time! As a parent, I can't recommend Sarah enough. More importantly, however, is that my son would rate 5 stars too! He never skipped lessons with Sarah! She has that authenticity that teenagers demand in a person before they'll listen, plus the 'virtual' format made it easy for him to fit between other activities!Jan 7, 2021Not your typical Spanish Teacher's reply
Thank you Regina! It was a pleasure teaching your son, and I look forward to working with you on your Spanish when you’re ready. Gracias!
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? The price is the same for one or two students at the same time who are on the same level. 20% discount on lesson packages of ten lessons
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I talk with the student to get to know their current level of Spanish, if any. I listen to them to help me know what kind of learner they are. I tailor each lesson to each individual student to help reach their goals in learning Spanish. I teach many adults of all ages and I have several books to use to ac company our lessons. For elementary, middle and highschool students, we are able to share screens so I can see exactly what you and working on in class so I can help you succeed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?BA from Georgia State University with majors in Spanish and Education of Students of a Foreign Language. I have traveled extensively through 15 Spanish speaking countries. I have lived 8 months in Spain and 8 years in Costa Rica where I tutored Spanish online and in person during that time.
