- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process for working with a new customer: 1. Initial Consultation (Free) We start with a quick phone call or meeting to discuss your tax situation, whether you're an individual filer or a business owner. This helps me understand your needs and give you an accurate quote upfront. 2. Document Collection I'll provide you with a simple checklist of everything I need — W-2s, 1099s, business income/expense records, prior year returns, and any other relevant documents. You can submit documents securely online, by email, or in person. 3. Preparation & Review I carefully prepare your return, maximizing deductions and credits while ensuring full compliance. I review everything thoroughly before moving forward. 4. Client Review Before filing, I walk you through your completed return so you understand exactly what was prepared and why. No surprises. 5. Filing Once you approve, I e-file your return promptly. You'll receive confirmation when it's accepted. 6. Follow-Up Support I'm available after filing to answer any questions, help with notices, or assist with tax planning for the year ahead.
