FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Actual cost depends on the amount of work to be completed. I tell all my clients that the more they come in prepared, the less it will cost them. Bringing in a "shoebox" will certainly cost more!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with my clients first to determine their needs and get to know them better. If it is for individual tax preparation, my client comes in with their work and we go over it to see if anything is possibly missing. If nothing is missing, my turn around time for processing is usually 7-10 days. We then get together to go over the return and do some tax planning at the same time. I do not prepare returns while the client waits as it opens up the door for possible mistakes.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a CPA to retain my license, I have educational requirements, including ethics training. I am required to have a minimum of 84 hrs of education every two years to maintain my license.
