In south east Orlando, Lake Nona area, we installed our Huper Optik Ceramic 30 before the hot summer started on all the windows and sliders. Not only did the customer receive the Progress Energy rebate and other energy saving ideas, but they are now saving around $125 per month on their electric bill. They are going to see the addition of window tinting pay for it self in 18 months. We have also started to do other houses in that same neighborhood due to the happiness and the quest for that customer to save more.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure your window film company is fully licensed and insured. Ask for references and copies of insurance. When having window film put on a residential or commercial building, make sure that the installer and manufacturer have warranties. You will also want to make sure that they have residential and commercial grade window films, you do not want a car tint installed on your "flat" glass.
