- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My customers like the fact that I prefer to give quotes and not estimates, that way, there are no surprises at the end.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Generally, I like to come out to the home, free of charge of course, meet with the customer, and go over the specifics of the project. Depending on the project, I can sometimes give an on the spot quote. Others projects require me to gather material prices to put together a quote. Then, once being contracted, I only require a material deposit to get scheduled and started.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Is not really necessary in this field but I do stay up to date on all of the latest products available through different suppliers that I do business with.
