Magic for Any Occasion
We hired Brandon for our son's wedding to do strolling table to table magic. He was awesome! Everyone raved about their experience as he visited each table. He even did a special magic trick for the bride and groom. My husband and I still are talking about his performance. How the heck it he do that trick? Amazed us. Would hire him in a second... again!Oct 6, 2017Verified
Brandon did some good close up tricks, but his presentation lacked enthusiasm. His escape show was a bit long and did not hold the attention of the audience.Apr 21, 2017VerifiedBrandon S.'s reply
Charles, I'm sorry you felt that way and wished you'd said something during the evening so that I could have tried to adjust to your expectations. I had most every group I performed for throughout the night asking for my business card so felt that others enjoyed my performances. As for the stage portion of the evening I know the back of the room had a difficult time hearing due to the room layout, background noise from the kitchen, and acoustics. Also, you asked me to do a 15 minute set which is much shorter than most of the stage shows I do so I had to cut out my traditional warm up effects that build my engagement with the audience and just dive into what are traditionally the finales to my performance. Again I regret I didn't live up to your expectations though if you talk to your other members I think you may find their experiences to be very positive.

Q & A
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I attend annual magician conferences to see what the latest and greatest is in my field. At these I can see the new effects, attend workshops to improve my skills, and network with other performers.
- What types of customers have you worked with?I've performed for customers of all ages and events. I do many corporate engagements throughout the year including awards banquets, trade shows, and holiday parties. I also perform at many private parties like birthdays, weddings, or holiday gatherings. Additionally I've performed to large groups in local theaters or even larger ones at festivals.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Hire a professional with experience. You can always find a cheaper entertainer but you often get what you pay for. Don't let saving $25 or $50 be the difference between a mediocre party and a great one. Find a performer that has repeat clients. Anyone can be hired for an event once; it takes a great performer to get asked back.
