Pitch Like A Pro With Hunter Jones

Introduction: As a small child, I've loved baseball. Just like other young boys, my childhood dream was to become a professional baseball player. At last, after years of fun and hard work, I received a scholarship to play baseball at FSU. Three years and a surgery later, my dream came true. In 2005, I became a professional baseball player when I signed with the Boston Red Soxs to a minor league contract. My big break finally came in 2009. I got to play with the Boston Red Soxs on their major league team. I was really excited that all my closest friends and my family came to watch, and it was one of the best time of my life. I was traded to the Florida Marlins for Jeremy Hermida, an outfielder, during the off season of 2009. In 2010, I played in the big leagues for the Marlins as well. Unfortunately, during the current 2010 season, I was injured, tearing my ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) off the bone. The surgery that I underwent is more commonly known as Tommy John surgery. While recovering, it is my mission to stay preoccupied in the baseball community and to help local talent and children to pursue their baseball dreams. I am now giving local baseball pitching and conditioning lessons in Jupiter, Florida. I am available to travel occasionally if the circumstances are necessary.
