I hired Troy through Thumbtack to install six ceiling fans at our new home (five inside and one on the lanai), and from start to finish, the experience was outstanding.
Communication was excellent. Troy kept me updated on when he was heading over, arrived exactly when he said he would, and got right to work. His quality of work is top-notch. Every fan was installed with care, he tested each one to make sure everything worked perfectly, and he cleaned up everything before leaving. You’d never know someone had spent the day working in the house.
What really impressed me, though, was his professionalism and character. Before packing up, he asked if there was anything else I needed. The next thing I knew, he was checking to make sure our curtains were hung correctly and making small adjustments to help us out. That’s the kind of service you just don’t see very often anymore.
I even tried to give him a tip because I was so impressed, but he politely declined, saying we had already agreed on a price. That told me everything I needed to know about the kind of person he is. Honest, dependable, and someone who genuinely takes pride in his work.
It’s rare to find a handyman who’s this responsive, professional, and detail-oriented. Troy has definitely earned a customer for life. In fact, if I can’t find another project for him, I might just have to “accidentally” break something so I have an excuse to call him back.
If you’re considering hiring Troy, don’t hesitate. You won’t regret it. I will absolutely be using him again and recommending him to anyone who needs quality work done.

We hired Troy to replace the builder-grade light fixtures in our dining area and kitchen island with more modern, visually appealing options. Troy with Reliable Repairs answered my text inquiry very promptly. He is very professional…reasonably priced and is knowledgeable in so many areas of repair and furniture assembly. Troy was able to come to my home and my office within 1 day. He put a desk together for me…mounted and hung a tv, hung multiple heavy mirrors and shelves.
