We had roof damage and needed it fixed. Multiple roofers gave quotes. Most were wanting crazy prices and acted like I should be indebted to them just to have them consider giving me an estimate. One company gave me two different estimates (one was when they thought insurance was paying for it and then a different amount when they realized I was paying out of pocket. All of them were like "Don't ask us to go down any on our prices." I had quotes that were double and triple the going rate. Then, José came along. He originally wasn't the lowest bid. Unlike the others, he work with me on the pricing to make my roof affordable. After he got on site, I got called outside...which is never a good thing. Sure enough, there was an issue...huge issue. José could have held me to the contract and I would have been a thousand or so dollars in debt. Instead, we worked out a deal that was more than fair. At every step I was blown away by the quality and care José and his team expressed. I couldn't have asked for better treatment. And, I absolutely love the roof! Weeks later, other roof companies called me wondering why I hadn't signed their estimates. They were rude and had a tone of entitlement. They acted astonished that I went with someone that was lower and treated me right. I've told five or six people about José already. I cannot speak too highly of him. If you're in need of a new roof, call First Eagle!
