Introduction: What I believe sets me apart from other artists is while I love to be creative, my main goal is accommodating to what the client is looking for. Beauty is very personal, and what is beautiful to one woman may not be beautiful to another. Whether my client is looking for natural, or dramatic, its important to me to use my creative skills and artistry to achieve that! I just love to pamper others! It is a great joy for me to get to spend time with someone and help bring out the best in them. That is what makeup is to me. I'm not interested in covering up who you are, but bringing out the natural beauty I see in front of me. It is especially my pleasure to customize a look and colors for each client who sits in my chair, and for them to leave feeling revived, and most importantly, beautiful!

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

It all started from a young age for me. I guess you could say I have always been a "girly-girl!" Ever since I can remember I have been fascinated by beauty and fashion and chose to express that through creative and artistic outlets! These things all combined brought to fruition an outlet in front of the camera in my teen years that gave me the experience of working with many talented makeup artists, photographers, and designers in the Tampa Bay Area. I have always loved hair and make-up though and would often times do my own! It was not uncommon for the ladies in my family and all of my girlfriends to request I do theirs, which I loved doing! I am grateful for the inspiration and learning experiences this time in my life brought me! Eventually I would realize I had more interest in being a part of the production side then in front of the camera myself, especially because I just love to pamper others!

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

My main focus is makeup for bridal parties, but I am also hired often for photoshoots of all kinds.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would encourage clients to keep an open mind about makeup for big days! A lot of times women are not used to a little extra on the eyes, a shaped brow, or false eyelashes for example, but it really does make a difference, especially in photos. When a professional is doing the work, it may sound like a lot, but it will not look overdone. Trusting your makeup artist is important.
