My daughter was a first time pet owner and knew that she was in over her head and needed immediate help in training her new rescue dog. We're so grateful, on so many levels, to have found Maureen on Thumbtack. She not only trains the dog but more importantly, trains the owner. I can tell you the first time Remi met Maureen he was nervous and barking non-stop. After her training, it looked like Remi was going to bite her ankle as she was walking away, just as she predicted would happen. Maureen said training is about reading and understanding Remi and the behaviors he displays. For instance, how Remi would quickly glance at my daughter when a stranger is in eyesight. Maureen also came prepared with yummy treats to reward Remi for his good behavior. Positive training! On Maureen's second visit, Remi was outside on the lawn wagging his tail upon seeing her. Maureen taught us a wonderful game using a cupcake pan and had so much useful information to share with us while leash training Remi. Her last visit, we opened our door and Remi was licking her ankles. I very HIGHLY recommend Maureen for training your beloved pet (and you).
I hired Todd from South Orlando Dog Training to help me with my aggressive German Sheppard Tanny.. After 3 sections I have seen great improvements. Todd has given me the tools to continue with Tanny's training. He is doing well and he is improving more each day.. thank you Todd
Andy was excellent and our family really liked onsite one on one training with our dog. We are on our way to a well behaved dog. :) Looking forward to joing the group lessons soon. Highly recommend Andy's help to anyone struggling with doggy behavioural issues.
Martha really went above and beyond in helping us with training our Siberian Husky puppy. Before Martha, we had issues with housebreaking her, she wouldn't listen to us, and we had much difficulty in training her ourselves. When Martha came along and offered her assistance to us, we decided to give her a shot. And we definitely made the right choice. We decided to enroll our dog in Martha's Board & Train program for two 3-day sessions. And within that time period, the dog we used to know was no more. She is now house broken, she listens to commands and performs them. We are truly grateful for the services Martha has provided to us. She not only trains the dog but works with us and trains us to be better dog owners as well. I would highly recommend Martha to anyone seeking assistance with their dog.
Excellent!!! Thank you for training Charlie! Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality, trustworthy dog training at a great price!

My experience with Christine and K9 Holistics was nothing short of amazing. First, I want to explain that at 37 years of age, Quinn is my first pup, therefore I had very little knowledge and needed someone who would not just train the pup, but train me as well. And this is exactly what Christine did. She took my level of knowledge into consideration, and designed a plan that my wife and I followed with our pup. She always followed up with detailed homework for us to maintain Quinn's training throughout the week. Quinn's behavior changed dramatically over the short 6 weeks that we spent together. He was never a bad-behaved dog, but he went from being an untrained dog, to a dog that could follow all of the basic obedience commands with ease and consistency. Months after our time together ended, and even after I moved 4 states away, Christine is still in touch with me to see how Quinn is transitioning to his new environments, and to ensure that I don't have any additional needs. I highly recommend Christine to anyone who cares a lot about their dog. You will not be disappointing and your dog will thank you!
Had a great time attending this training with Brittany and Nancy. Donut had so much fun socializing and learned all the tricks. Individual attention is given to the puppies in these small classes. Highly recommend working with Highland Canine Training!
So far the experience has been outstanding. 4 lessons down and Tracy Peabody knows her stuff. We have a large breed dog which was a rescue and Tracy helped us with housetraining, and the basic fundamentals - boundaries the dog needs. We will continue to use K9 Rules Services and in fact have referred a neighbour who has 2 large breed dogs that need some training. I would recommend her to anyone that needs training not only for the dog(s) but for the owners as well. Consistency is her moto.
Angel was awesome! She kept us updated on our dog's progress throughout the process. Would definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for dog training.
Rose is amazing! She has been working my 8 month old beagle. Rose has been working w/ us on leash training, sit, stay, come, not jumping and has really helped w/ the nipping and biting. I highly recommend her for anyone that needs dog training. She is worth every penny.
I trained my pup Juke with Mike for a few Months. Unfortunately I had to move away from the area and found another trainer. I found another trainer after moving precisely because Mike helped my life and Jukes life so much with our time training with him. He is a kind, gentle, repetitive human being and that's why he gets great results. I would reccomend anyone who wants to get the most out of their dogs or correct unwanted behaviors to give the K9 Coach a try. You will not regret it. Look up my google review for details on my experience with him. Forever thankful, Omar and Juke
Christina is amazing! She really knows her stuff, is willing to answer any and all questions, and really takes her time training you and your dog. I highly recommend her.
I hired Quinn to work with my Boston Terrier mix (Lulu) who was a nightmare on a leash. She constantly pulled and had leash aggression issues. I purchased a package of personal training sessions and have been extremely happy with the results. The training was for me, as much as it was for Lulu. Quinn was really flexible and super easy to work with. Our training sessions started at home but we soon branched out to places like Petco and eventually downtown Dunedin. Lulu has come a long way since her first training session. She now knows several commands and walks nicely beside me on her leash. We are still working to improve her confidence when meeting new dogs on a leash but I continue to see improvement with each new outing. If you have a pup in need of manners, I highly recommend Quinn.
We took our 11 weeks old German Shephards to von Asgard and we were not disappointed. Linda and Nick were amazing, friendly and very knowledgeable. We are looking forward to continuing our training with Von Asgard. Thank you Linda and Nick and we will see you soon
Lee's help in training our dog was nothing less than superb. He is kind yet firm and was very attentive to our special circumstances. We will work with him in the future!
Shanna has been great not only working with Rayne, but training us too. She has made such a difference in helping us with a great relationship with our Rayne. Thanks Shanna.
My husband, Ray and I rescued our five year old Bichon Frise, Phoebe and she immediately became very attached to me. We struggled with her skin conditions and food allergies. But she was most troubled when anyone would come near us or our house, barking (screaming) hysterically and nothing we could do would break her focus on the perceived danger, even picking her up and taking her to a back room of the house where she would continue barking loudly. She also snapped at people, especially children, who would move toward her to touch her. We were afraid to take her into situations where other people were gathered, such as our group camping outings. In desperation, we contacted Sam Ivy K9 Consultants, and our trainer, Enzo, began teaching us how to teach Phoebe. He was very patient with us, and within two visits, Phoebe stopped her frantic barking on our "STOP" command! Enzo continued to teach us how to give her the necessary commands that every dog should know: Sit, Stay, Down, Come ect. He also addressed her occasional night-time peeing in the house (she is very afraid of the dark so one of us has to go outside with her at night). Our fluffy Phoebe is so much better behaved now and we are very thankful that her training has made her a better, loving companion.
Professional Trainer, after neighbors witnessed the training with my American Pit Bull Terrier, they signed up for classes for their dog that had leash anxiety, and pulling on lease issues. Within a few classes the dog's behavior is now amazing. Wish I would have taken classes years ago.
Caroline is a gifted trainer. We have an especially difficult cocker spaniel and Caroline has been a tremendous help in providing training and strategies for handling him. She uses positive reinforcement in her training which is important to us. We can recommend her services without reservation.
