FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Part costs $40, takes me and a helper 45 minutes to change it, unit is checked and runs fine afterwards, $75 bill. Cash preferred, here are some business cards, have a nice day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I upgrade my training at Carrier, Trane, Rheem, Nordyne, Goodman and with local and state codes CONSTANTLY. NORMI is a pain, but we keep that up-to-date as well. I always go to the conventions to keep up with the new innovations and products, and share information with my customers.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My family's A/C broke on July 4th, and we couldn't get a guy out until the 6th. I found the problem, went out and bought the part, replaced it, and when the guy showed up he checked my work. He was nice and charged $10 for his gas, since I did a perfect job myself changing the part. To this day, I charge $10 for my gas usually.
