I own a modern vintage shop in Los Angeles and shipped a credenza to a customer in Florida and it arrived damaged along the side. Aluxandra with La Boiserie went to the receiving warehouse to inspect the piece and give me a quote. She got the quote over to me, and worked with me to have the credenza dropped off at her shop for repair, and then picked back up. She had the repair done in record time (2 days), and even though it wasn't a full refinish and kind of a small-ish job, she still helped me get it handled and fixed 2300 miles away. Would definitely recommend La Boiserie!

La Boiserie stripped my wooden front door and re-stained/varnished it. They also polished the hinges and door handle. I am very pleased with their work and would gladly recommend them. They were also very professional and treated our home with care.

My compliments to Aluxandra and her family! This family owned business was the first I've ever hired on Thumbtack and I knew I made an excellent descision once I saw their portfolio. Aluxandra was so knowledgeable and professional when it came to our 80's library refinishing. Our major concern was that the wood of our library was untreated, had a very rough finish, and was very unstable in certain areas. We also wanted a section taken out so we could fit a larger TV in the center. La Boiserie did above and beyond for us. The surface is smoothed and the stain is absolutely lovely. They even repaired any damage they noticed and put handles on the drawers that were missing. If you need a project done, please support La Boiserie. You will not be disappointed in their passion, attention to detail, and talent behind their work. Check out the before and after shots! I will be using their services again in the near future.
