NEW TO THUMBTACK Jim Curran: 35 years in golf industry. Twenty five year PGA Class(A) member. I have extensive teaching experience having given over 20,000 lessons in my career to all ages and skill levels. Beginners are welcome. My college education was at Auburn University paid for by a golf scholarship. I was captain and held tournament scoring record for 20+ years. I have been on staff at 10 different private clubs, most recently as Director of Golf at Fisher Island off of Miami Beach.

Jim was very knowledgeable regarding the changes I needed to make to get my game back on track. He was quite impactful right away and had me change a few basics like grip and stance alignment. He pointed out the few good things about my swing and the general flaws that I need to work on and be aware of when bad things occur. Jim has a very pleasant demeanor while instructing and I felt he really cared to get me going in the right direction. Highly recommended!

OMG!!! Been playing fairly seriously for about 8 years and for 8 years I haven’t seen the left side of the golf course until about my fourth lesson with Jim!! Awesome!! Pace and language I could understand and he seems to tailor the lesson experience to my level of experience. Thanks Jim!! Now I’m gonna buy that new driver I’ve been thinking about.
