I just moved into a new place and had lined up a number of projects. My wrist is broken so I can't really do them myself easily. He showed up and was flexible with his time to come after I got out of work. He built 3 IKEA high-top chairs, one desk chair, an IKEA desk, a bed table, and attached a headboard to a bed frame. The bed-frame in particular was impressive because the bolts in the packaging weren't long enough for the bed-frame. If I was doing this myself, I wouldn't even know that let alone know how to solve it. But he did, he had a large array of tools and other things to use, so he asked my permission to bolt into the medal bed frame and found a bolt that would work. The end result is fantastic and saved me a lot of money rather than having to return the headboard. Ultimately he worked till around 11 PM when I asked him to stop working as I needed to get some sleep in, but he was willing and able to continue on projects even later. So dedicated, smart guy who was super friendly, and a problem solver. First contractor I hired on Thumbtack and I'm impressed.
