FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on the quality of work, materials, and service that I provide. I’m not always the cheapest option, but I make sure every dollar goes toward delivering solid value—durable materials, reliable timelines, and quality craftsmanship. I provide detailed, itemized estimates so you know exactly what you're paying for—no vague numbers or surprise charges. It's also important to understand that pricing can vary based on things like the scope of work, material choices, structural changes, and permit requirements. I always take the time to walk clients through their quote so they understand the breakdown, and I’m happy to offer options that work within your budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process is designed to keep things clear, efficient, and low-stress for the homeowner. Here’s how it usually works: Initial Consultation: We start with a conversation—either by phone or in person—where I listen to your goals, needs, and budget. This helps me understand the scope and see if we’re a good fit. Site Visit & Assessment: I visit the property to take measurements, look at existing conditions, and talk through options. This step ensures I can give you a realistic plan and estimate. Detailed Estimate & Proposal: I’ll provide a detailed quote that outlines materials, labor, timeline, and payment schedule. Transparency is key—I make sure you know exactly what to expect. Contract & Planning: Once everything looks good, we sign a contract. Then I schedule the project, order materials, and coordinate with any necessary subcontractors or specialists. Construction Begins: I keep you updated throughout the project, handle any issues quickly, and make sure the jobsite is safe and clean. Final Walkthrough & Wrap-Up: Once the work is done, we walk through everything together to make sure you’re happy. I only consider the job complete when you’re satisfied.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve been a licensed General Contractor for over 30 years, and in that time, I’ve built my business on integrity, quality, and consistency. I’m Triple-A rated with zero infractions, which reflects both my work ethic and my commitment to doing things right. While I didn’t come through a traditional college path, my education has been hands-on—from running job sites to managing crews, reading plans, navigating code requirements, and delivering projects that stand the test of time. I also make it a priority to stay current with new building materials, technologies, and code changes through ongoing industry training and certifications. At the end of the day, my track record, reviews, and repeat clients are the best reflection of the training I’ve had—real-world experience you can trust.
