Rob S. says, "Want to let all know about how fantastic Darren and his crew were. Milton‘s tornado took away our patio enclosure and we wanted to replace it with more of a “room” but still a patio enclosure. Darren worked patiently with us as we took some time deciding what we actually wanted. Darren kept us informed about every step in attendance Along the way to completion. We had some supplier delays in getting some of the parts in, but because Darren was so communicative and apologetic about the issue, we didn’t mind. Once the material was available he was out to install even before his original estimated date. His crew meticulously installed a very detailed and heavily engineered structure to perfection. He has been willing to return touch up any minor issue and throughout the project he exercised, amazing, professionalism, and patience. He’s doing some work soon for my next-door neighbor and if I were to move from this house and need any type of screen enclosure product completed, I would not hesitate to reach back out to Darren. Thank you, Oceanside!"See more

How much is it to get your windows tinted?

Window tinting is an easy aftermarket addition that can help reduce your electric bills, decrease glare in the home, increase privacy, protect your furniture and artwork against fading, and better control temperatures throughout your house. The national average cost for residential window tinting is $550. Many window tinting companies charge per square foot, for example, $6-$8 per square foot for materials and installation. Often, companies can offer lower rates for a larger installation project. Window size also affects cost; smaller windowpanes are harder to work with than large, rectangular windows and will likely mean a higher price per square foot. Your utility company may offer you rebates for installing window tinting. Here are two examples of average project installation cost:

  • 110-square-foot window tinting project: $750 for 11 windows tinted.
    • $6.80 per square foot. Customer received $150 from electrical company.
    • Semi-gloss tint.
  • 200-square-foot window tinting project: $1,000 for 10 large-pane windows tinted.
    • $5 per square foot.
    • Reflective silver tint for maximum privacy.
