- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Experience and personality trump equipment and price everytime. You should meet with the DJ/MC professional prior to the event - and prior to (or at) the contract signing. Ask for the DJ/MC to demonstrate his experience in the form of testimonials or evaluations, and ask if you can contact prior clients. You will save money if you have the event on a day and time that is not Saturday night. You want a DJ/MC whom you are comfortable being with, for that individual will be at your event for at least a few hours, and you want to be happy with his performance and pleased with his personality.
