I was introduced to many techniques under Bruno. From kettle bell training, strength training, BJJ, and self defense. While in college, I learned under Bruno as his knowledge I could test alongside health performance. It was during this time I learned how to perfect my Olympic lift form, the deadlift. As a young woman not afraid of lifting weights, I worked hard. It was my time at the gym speaking with Bruno or working with him that I now can feel how I lift and if I am performing it right.

Dan, co-owner of Burg Fitness, tailored a custom self-defense training session including the psychology of assaults, how to detect, defuse an attack and how to defend myself if physically confronted. I have been working with Kathy for about 5 months and it she has exceeded all my expectations. I was looking for a cardio workout I would enjoy; thus, stick with it. I find the treadmill boring. I prefer to work outside and we are able to do this with her training programs. Kathy's approach is very professional, positive, fun and most of all varied enough to provide just the right challenge physically and mentally. She ensures you keep the right form and focus, while building your confidence and abilities. I am not only getting an interesting cardio workout, but developing my core, agility and self defense. Cobra really opened my eyes to the reality of what self defense is. All the drills prove how important practice, reflex, and awareness are what are necessary in life and death situations. Everyone should go through this at least once.
I have been a fan of martial arts since i was a wee lad. For my entire life i came to realize that most places you join are sink or swim.
