FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I found over the years that no two jobs are exactly the same and pricing on every job should be carefully considered.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Most of the time its best to meet the customers at their project and walk through it to see exactly what the details are. I can offer on the spot prices for some projects while other jobs are more involved requiring a few days. There are times when I can offer a ball park price over the phone on smaller jobs. Once we agree on the price I work out the schedule with the client so we work at their convenience.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
4 years training as a carpenter at the local union office in Orlando. Worked as a carpenter/ contractor exclusively since 1983. Passed Florida's contractors exams as a General and Roofing Contractor. Have built new custom homes, additions, garage conversions, detached garages, bedroom additions, kitchen and bathroom remodels and all kinds of smaller repairs.
