I've been working with Alex for nearly a year on drawing up my home addition, with several requests for modifications before submitting drawings to the city, and after they came back with questions and a modification to meet a new code requirement. Alex walked me through the entire process and has always been friendly about it and quick to respond. His work is excellent, I feel very comfortable with the amount that he's billed me, and I very highly recommend him.

After researching Alex, we called and spoke to him. He guided us through the process. He explained what should be expected and informed us when the project should be finished. The project is not completed as yet, but we have built a relationship with Alex that without a doubt the will be using him for our next projects. So excited to build the amazing modern house that Alex designed for us. From the first meeting he was very attentive to details and did a great job implementing our ideas. New to Florida and navigating stringent building codes, Alex walked us through everything.
Even in some of our more conventional ideas, he was patient and accommodating, and he was more interested in helping us realize our vision than rushing through the project.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We provide a simple price per square foot to design your home which includes all of the plans necessary to submit for your building permits. Our plans are reviewed, signed & sealed by our state licensed structural engineer. The only other documents you generally will need is to obtain a survey (auto cad file), energy calculations, & truss engineering. During the design phase when we have locked your floorpan/design. We send your plans electronically to a Truss manufacturer. They provide a quote for your roof and/or floor trusses and generally release engineering after you send them a 10% deposit. We can also coordinate the survey & refer you to a professional who prepares energy calculations.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We listen to all of your ideas and the space you would like us to design.
We then verify your set back requirements and come up with an initial site plan & a floor plan. After that we design your front, rear, left, & right elevations.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. 24 years experience designing and building homes from Los Angeles to all over Florida.
