FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing depends on the size of the tub/shower and the type of coating (full spray refinish vs. our hand-poured epoxy-acrylic option). I always give a clear, upfront quote before any work starts — no hidden fees. Here’s the simple math: you pay once, and with proper care, you don’t have to think about your tub’s condition for up to 20 years. Compare that to a cheaper spray job that starts peeling within a couple of years, and you end up paying for a redo all over again. The upfront cost is an investment in not having to repeat this job every 2-3 years.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by asking for photos of the tub or shower to get a sense of the damage, then provide an honest estimate — including whether refinishing is even the right fit, since not every tub is a good candidate. From there, we schedule a time that works, and the job is usually completed in a single day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I trained hands-on in bathtub and shower refinishing techniques, focusing specifically on epoxy-acrylic application methods, surface prep, and chemical-free cleaning processes that ensure long-term durability.
