- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have flat rates for time on the job that take into account services, travel and incidental tools used for the repairs, if any. If additional parts or equipment are required, additional fees may apply and will be discussed with customer prior to any further work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Introducing myself and what my experience is. Proceed to determine a diagnosis by explaining what is happening to the customer in terms they can understand. Once that happens I will go over what it will take to fix and confirm if that is satisfactory to them by issuing a written estimate of work to be done. Only until after the customer receives the estimate and they understand what is happening, will I start to work on their system.
