Hire them! Don't think twice about it. I absolutely loved working with Joe and Tina. They are professional, thoughtful and just overall wonderful people. These are the people that I am hiring for my next project. Don't bother with the others . I am the type of person that expects the best from people and Joe goes above and beyond. He is meticulous in everything that he does and will not stear you wrong. I loved working with them and will so again in the future.Apr 12, 2018Verified
I was very pleased with Tina, Joe and Guy! The team did a great job for me with a laundry list of projects. They reframed my kitchen counter into a breakfast bar, cut out my old cabinet above my stove and installed a new microwave hood combo, re-routed my dryer vent from the garage over the attic to the outside wall, and finally painted my kitchen and laundry. It was bid, contracted, planned and executed in less than a week! The actual work was done in a day! They did a good job cleaning up. We will certainly use them again. Joe gave me some great ideas for updating the ceiling and lighting in the kitchen, as well as painting my cabinets. Thanks Ace High!May 6, 2017Verified
Tina and Joe need to finish up a project as professionally as they begin it; seeing to all the final details, making sure that everything functions as planned and that the client is satisfied with the job done. As happy as we were with Joe and Tina; with Tina's organization and communication, with Joe's workmanship, his creativity and skill, we ended up frustrated and disappointed with the end result. To his credit, Joe came back twice to resolve some of the problems and do additional work. But it took weeks of unanswered calls and messages to make that happen. There are still things that have been left undone, but we've given up on trying to get a response. It is a month since we last saw Joe, and over three months since we gave Ace High their final payment. We wish that we could get the job done as easily as Joe and Tina were able to get their money. But that is our problem, not theirs. I don't think that it would have taken more than an afternoon to make everything right. The end result would have been a job that Joe and Tina could feel proud of, could showcase and reference. And we would have been delighted to recommend their work to others. But, of course, we cannot do that. I would advise others to learn from our experience.Jan 15, 2018VerifiedAce High Painting & Construction's reply
Each project is unique as many contractors know and each with its unique customer(s), as in this case. We treat each with the respect & commitment we would expect ourselves. Sometime however, no matter how much we do to make sure our customer(s) are happy with the end result, problems do arise, as in this case. We enjoyed working with Sharon & her husband and were patient with them throughout the project, but when working with the elderly sometimes we run into challenges outside of our control. In this case husband & wife were sometimes forgetful, as well as, not very good communicators between themselves. We noticed this early on in the project & tried very hard to eliminate communication errors on their part that would affect us or the project. There was NEVER a time in which when contacted by either Sharon or her husband throughout the course & after the completion of this project, were calls or messages not returned within a day or two of receiving them. The PROBLEM was when a call or message was returned; apparently it was not relayed to the other. Example, the day of this review by Sharon (wife), a message had already been sent to her husband; so we were quite shocked by this review. In fact only about two weeks had passed since we were last out there, not a month, and only two days from the time I personally responded to her husband & the date of this review. According to neighbors, Sharon would bad mouth us to them, up to and including our scheduled appointment, due to past bad experiences with other contractors. Strangely, as they would explain to us, she did this WHILE we were there as well; then spoke highly of us. Since our final payment, we were out twice, to address any & all repairs, as well as, to complete new additional work & to repair items in which THEY BROKE. Our warranty covers (like all other contractors) items that may be due to product brakeage or oversight on our part, yet we made repairs due to the homeowner at our own cost. We absorbed the cost of redoing items that these customers approved of, but they later changed their mind & we had to do it again. We are very proud of the work we did on this project as well as the neighbors we encountered while on the project. We have taken on several other projects due to work & attention to deals that their neighbors observed. We regret that this customer wrote this review while not taken into consideration their part of the communication issue. We have since tried several times to reach out in order to stand behind our work & warranty, but we have had no response. This review Does Not reflect our work or our company & this can be seen by reading reviews previous to this one.
Joe and Kenny were pleasant, professional, efficient and curteous. Joe's keen sense of color and ideas for the trim were helpful to me. The end result was beyond my expectations. I would highly recommend Ace High to anyone needing a painter.Apr 18, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? We do not have a standard pricing system, because we treat each project as individually as they are.
