My kitchen remodel was supposed to be finished in 10 days per the contact. it as started before Thanksgiving. It is now January and still its not fully finished.
its too much to write so,
1. first day they didn't pick up screws or nails in my driveway from the demo. I picked up 2 handfuls
2. smashed my wreath container and denied it.
it has been on the top shelf in my garage for 3 years without moving.
3. used my small decoractive wood table to set their grout on so it was covered in it.
4. spilled something liquid on my new area rug and just flipped it over without drying it and didn't even wipe up the huge puddle.
5. used the top of my ceramic stove to hold tools and screws. I had to have them remove it to put a towel over it.
6. cut the wood for the cabinet with a saw inside my house. there was a thick layer of dust everywhere even in the other rooms. I had to buy a air purifier to help it clear. I still haven't gotten all of it cleaned.
7. used my rrefrigerator and my freezer without asking.
8. on black friday the counter was supposed to be installed. They canceled because supposedly dropped it and it broke. Miraculously they got a new over the weekend which the first one took over a week.
9. My sink that I had had the soap dispenser. The wasn't make with the disper hole. I mentioned it and Raphael said "oh you wanted that"? it even shows it in the plan he drew up.
10. The pantry cabinet was supposed to be flush against the wall but it was to big but wasn't replaced with a thinner one. Instead the cut my doorway and moved it to accomodate the large pantry which it still is too large and goes beyond the door.
11. The cabinet pulls I chose were a smaller size. the ones that he brought are way to big and he took it upon himself and said they would be ok. these are not what I chose.
12. I had to ask them to come put the shelves in my cabinet and clean the mess. Raphael put in 1 shelf in the cabinets and asked if to put in the others and I said no I would do it. He threw them all away and I had to call him for the shelves which he had to reorder.
13. They didn't reinstall my dishwasher,
14. They broke my garbage disposal and havent finished the grout. I'm still waiting.
15. at one point Raphael said I stress to much and I need therapy and that he was 50 and went and it worked.
16. Raphael stole my dustpan and one of the guys stole my windex. it has been there for 5 years in my laundry room. I use it everytime I take the lint out of the dryer. This is just the principle of them stealing.
17. I still don't have 3 shelves for my cabinets.
18. communication is terrible.
I'm still waiting on replies.
There is more but so far its way too much.
