I highly recommend Handsome Handy! He came to install a curtain rod over my sliding glass doors, and what we both expected to be a quick, straightforward job turned into a much bigger project. The walls had old drywall with cement block behind them, so the original hardware wouldn't work.
Instead of taking shortcuts, he made two trips to the hardware store to get the proper cement screws and hardware. Throughout the entire process, he remained patient, professional, and determined to do the job the right way. He is truly a perfectionist, and it shows in the quality of his work.
What impressed me the most was his honesty and integrity. Even though the installation took much longer than anticipated and required considerably more work, he honored his original quote without hesitation.
It's rare to find someone as hardworking, dependable, and conscientious as Handsome Handy. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If you want me to come to you and do a preliminary inspection or measurements to give you an estimate, my visit will cost $60 if we continue to work with you after the assessment and inspection, these $60 will be included in the total cost of the work
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually I always ask the client to send me a complete technical specification and several photographs so that I can make a preliminary assessment, we value our time and yours and therefore this is a necessary measure so that I, as a master, can assess the situation in advance before arriving at your place
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a higher technical education and also completed many courses in construction. As I said earlier, my experience in the construction industry is more than 10 years.
