I was tasked with the care of a friend's house while she was in the hospital. Come to find out the friend is a hoarder. I wanted to get the kitchen usable again. There was no running water in the kitchen & the plumber refused to fix it until the kitchen was cleaned. I contacted three companies on Thumbtack. One of them refused the job because of how bad the house was. They also refused to provide a second person to help with the job. After talking with Rhonda Reese, I decided to go with MaidStar. Her fees are reasonable & she had no problems with providing the second person if that was what I needed. She was also aware what a big job this would be.
To say that the house was nasty is an understatement. There were canned goods that the bottoms had rusted out and there was no liquid. There was a dead rodent on the counter in all the trash. Most of the canned goods in the cabinet had been outdated years before. There was rotten, spoiled food in the refrigerator and freezer. And there was trash everywhere. We stayed four hours the first day. I asked Rhonda if she was coming back tomorrow to help me get it finished. She promised she would. I swear I would have cried if she did not come back.
We were there 9 hours the second day. Rhonda stayed later than I had originally asked for so we could get it done. What a huge difference.
The plumber came the next day & got the sink working again.
I recommend Rhonda wholeheartedly, she is awesome. Polite, professional, honest, and very hard-working. She will do whatever it takes to get the job done. I only hope her other jobs are easier than this one. I give her 10 stars for this one!!!
When my friend returned from the hospital she was so happy with the kitchen that it brought her to tears.
