- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I continually develops my skills by practicing new techniques, updating my technology and attending seminars. I am a Level 3 Aperture Pro trainer and have many skills around post production and graphic design.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've had a camera by my side since the sixth grade. My shop teacher custom built a dark room and taught selected students darkroom techniques, on the weekends I was sent home with a school issued 35mm camera. I started out as a kid photographing my dog and downtown city scenes. I had a passion for it through my high school years and served as my schools year book photographer. I carried on my passion and gained a degree at the Art Institute of Philadelphia in film photograph with a focus in black & white and large format bellow camera technology. Throughout my adult life I have freelanced for large firm aerial photography companies, high end fashion, product firms, corporate, portrait and large scale weddings. I have managed photography studios and trained an assortment of professional photographers throughout the years.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Weddings are my most common job. I like to have fun with my images and try new poses based on the couples personality. My images are very photojournalistic and have a story telling approach.
