FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer a first-time customer discount. The amount of the discount is dependant upon job size. Our prices may be a little higher than the other companies you receive quotes from, but I am a firm believer in "you get what you pay for." From my own experience, going the cheapest route, multiple times, I have always had to finish something myself, or the job took longer than quoted, etc. It ALWAYS costs more and I end up having to do more work. I didn't hire someone so I would have to work. With that said if you believe that our quote is too high or above what you have budgeted, please reach out to us before moving onto another company. We are absolutely willing to work with you on pricing. There is always some wiggle room for both parties to benefit.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically we like to have a phone conversation first to go over the high-level details of work needing to be performed. If all the services needed can be performed by us, I like to do a free on-site consultation so myself and the customer can do a walk around the property and discuss problem areas, areas to avoid, any pre-existing damages, and point out areas that the customer may be unaware of that need attention or need to be left alone. This allows us to see if the customer and Hydro Fleet are a good fit for each other, give a detailed and more accurate quote, and come up with a pressure washing plan for the property. The plan most of the time will include areas we will wash, soaps we will be using, if any, and allows each party to visualize the work prior to us starting.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We didn't get our Master's Degree in Pressure Washing if that is what you would like to know. lol. We do however have backgrounds in business, service writing, and system analytics. What does that mean to you? We have successfully started other companies that are still thriving even through this last year. We understand how to listen to clients' needs and make any adjustments necessary to meet their needs as best we can. We can take any issue, look at it from different perspectives, break it down using root cause analysis, and then come up with the best possible solution to fix the issue. This works in any business, whether it be a large corporation or a mom-and-pop pressure washing company like Hydro Fleet. We stay current on all new equipment, cleaners, safety procedures, and techniques, by reading new articles daily, watching new videos daily, and staying in touch with our equipment and commercial cleaners vendors on a weekly basis. They are a wealth of information and we have learned so many great things from them.
