**AT THIS TIME WE DO NOT OFFER THE INSTALLATION OF RING CAMERAS. We also do not work on existing POTS (landline)/fiber systems or do any work on two story residential structures. Running cables between floors in a two story home requires opening walls, drilling through structures between floors, etc. and is cost intensive. For most applications, it would be upwards of $400 per line for a two story run and it would be much more cost effective to install a powerful wireless system. We DO work on multi story commercial structures, just not residential customers through Thumbtack.**

Our pricing structure directly relates to our quality of work as well as the quality of products we use (cable, network termination material, mounting material, etc.). If you want the installation, material and equipment to last, we should be the only choice when it comes to hiring professionals to do the job. I reached out to several security camera installers and Christian the owner at Tampa Video Surveillance was the first to respond. He came out to my business to give us an estimate and installed the very next day. He was mindful of our business customers and expertly installed al of our cameras. He created a brace to ensure the cameras didn’t weigh down our flimsy ceiling. He ensured all cameras have perfect viewpoints and worked closely with my husband and I to ensure we were 100% satisfied with locations of each camera. I wanted to give a really positive review for this company. From day one, they were willing to help me pick the right surveillance system from their stock. And when I asked if I could buy one on my own and have them install it, they offered that as an option as well.My installation had one camera that was particularly tricky to install. But, they figured it out and was able to install it seamlessly. Afterwards, the picture for a couple of the cameras was clipped due to a portion of the roof blocking the shot. They offered to come back and install junction boxes at no additional cost if I got the boxes. All of this was already at a really good price by that point.All in all, I highly recommend this company. Christian was a delight to work with. And he was very helpful in making sure that he understood what I wanted, and that everything worked as expected.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
CCTV/Video Surveillance installations fluctuate in price, depending on the complexity of the project.
For Video Surveillance installs where the customer bring their own equipment, install price per camera starts at $150 (which includes setting up DVR/NVR and mobile apps). Price varies if we supply the custom system or if any install requires additional drilling or material to complete project (raceway, conduit, fire protection material) and it’s dependent on length of cable run.
Ask other installers for pricing breakdowns. Many will charge over $150 for cable, then charge $50 or more for mounting the cameras as well as a $100 Setup/Networking fee. That’s completely included when our customers have a brand new install.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Simple tasks require just a phone conversation. Complex projects do require an on site assessment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
20 years in the IT industry, 15 in low voltage/CCTV/AV.
