I don’t even know where to begin, because what Anthony and Clay from Lightning Moving did for me goes far beyond anything I could have expected from a moving company.
Yesterday, they moved me from a second-floor apartment to another second-floor apartment—but what they truly did was lift a weight off my life that I didn’t think anyone could help carry.
I have undergone 39 back surgeries, live with epilepsy, and have an implanted pain pump in my abdomen with catheters running into my spine. Moving isn’t just exhausting for me—it’s risky, painful, and overwhelming in ways most people will never understand. I packed my entire apartment alone, pushing myself past my limits, and by the time moving day arrived, I was completely drained—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
At one point, I broke down in tears.
And in that moment, instead of rushing me, instead of treating me like just another job on their schedule, Anthony and Clay showed me something rare—real humanity.
They gently told me, “Sit down and point to what you want us to do.”

On what was probably the toughest day for him and his assistant in years, Lightning came through for us. We had to be out of our apartment on the date of the move and another mover could have canceled with what they put up with on the move before ours, but they still showed up and got it done. They were responsive on text with me checking in and showed up ready to work.
I was worried my 500 pound reclining sofa would kill someone but they got it down and up 4 flights and worked into the night.
Really stand-up guy and his assistant also worked himself through a very challenging day for them.
I can't recommend them enough.

Pricing Varies per Job, but we go by 15 min increments! Charge the lowest we can for Box Trucks and Supplies!

We ask quite a few questions! We want to make sure we come as equipped as possible to make your move easy and stress free! We work fast, so we want to make sure that everything goes according to plan!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a business management degree in college, plus have 400+ moves under my best from previous experience!
