Yesterday, they moved me from a second-floor apartment to another second-floor apartment—but what they truly did was lift a weight off my life that I didn’t think anyone could help carry. I have undergone 39 back surgeries, live with epilepsy, and have an implanted pain pump in my abdomen with catheters running into my spine. Moving isn’t just exhausting for me—it’s risky, painful, and overwhelming in ways most people will never understand. I packed my entire apartment alone, pushing myself past my limits, and by the time moving day arrived, I was completely drained—physically, mentally, and emotionally. At one point, I broke down in tears. And in that moment, instead of rushing me, instead of treating me like just another job on their schedule, Anthony and Clay showed me something rare—real humanity. They gently told me, “Sit down and point to what you want us to do.” Those words hit me deeply.
