FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began doing drawings and paintings at the age of five, so it was natural for me to try to make money doing what I love. I love the challenge of creating art and have fun doing it. Getting paid is just a nice benefit. When I was 15 I got a racing kart that had a faulty engine mount. The engine vibration made the mount loosen up and the chain would come off while racing. That made me determined to design a mount that would keep the chain tight to stay on. I designed the mount and had it built. It worked great! That success lead me into getting my design degree and launched a successful engineering design career. I love designing almost anything.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most clients want a visual reminder of something they like or a subject they are interested in, perhaps a portrait of a loved one, an owner's sportscar or a parent's child doing their sport activity. Alot of people want a drawing or painting of their favorite animal. Design wise I have done many houseplans and machinery for factories.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
You should have at least some idea of what subject you want and your budget. If I know your budget and subject, I can create my art or engineering design within those parameters so we can both be happy with the results. Together we will talk about your project. I will work on some idea sketches. When we both agree and share the same vision, I will begin the project. When done, you will be very pleased with the results.
