Before that, I was an electronics expert with the armed forces. Our specialty is diagnosing the problem correctly, and repairing AC systems that other companies can't. We never suggest you replace an AC system unless it is costing you too much money to run, or there is a major problem such as a burned-up compressor or an irreparable Freon leak. We have operated our business this way for the last 18 years. We always treat people with respect, always explain any problems there may be, and only give honest recommendations. We DO NOT have commission-based sales people, and do not sell items just to make extra profit. We are an extremely busy, LOCAL Sarasota company that prefers building long lasting relationships with our customers. And when it is hot, and you have no air, you are the first priority of our day. The look on peoples faces when they feel cold air coming from their vents after they were told their AC system should be replaced , by another AC Contractor. True story: we had one of our customers, who owns a lot of rentals, ask me to come by to look at her 18 year old 12 seer Rheem system. She rarely uses it and it was running like new. She's elderly and never lowers the temperature below 80 degrees, even in the summer. She informed me she had the money to change it and she's worried it's on it's last leg. But she told me her electric bill rarely reaches $70 per month. I asked her to wait until something major breaks and we would repair it the following day. Her system was just fine the way it was!
We can't believe the stuff that's happening in the AC industry right now. We need more training programs for young adults that want to get into this field of work versus settling for lower level jobs. Getting into the AC field is a career and an opportunity to advance into higher levels of management with good pay. We only hire motivated, hard working, and drug free employees. I love training new employees the right way! They are taught servicing AC units, versus commission based AC techs that are told by other companies to just sell a new system. It is important to us that we have NO commission-based sales techs, and are proud of it. It should be important to you, too.
