- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price at the going rate, I will give a break on price, if tutoring is done more than once a week, or there is more than one child. I do have references, in my possession, which I am happy to provide.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With a new customer, I would like to speak on the phone/ or, have a meeting about your child's needs. Where your child goes to school, what grade is the child in; what grades is your child is getting; is it a math problem, or math and reading problem? What/who is influencing (the teacher, fellow classmates) your child? Knowing as much background information will give us a direction.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA & MA in education, with a minor in Math & Reading. I have taught most grades, but especially: one, three, five and seven. I have specifically been a reading, math and science teacher as well as all subject matters. i am a substitute teacher and a tutor with great pride in my work. I enjoy teaching!
