Hi there,
My name is Petra and I have been a professional Ballroom Dancer/Instructor for the past 10 years. Through my love of dancing, I have been able to help hundreds of couples achieve their wedding dance dreams in addition to training with my competitive students for competitions and assisting people from all walks of life with their vision of being able to dance comfortably and confidently in all social settings.
I can come to you or we can rent a studio space in Sarasota.
Whether you're preparing for your big day, want to be able to dance at a friends wedding or are looking to burn up the dance floor in any situation, I'm your girl;)
Lessons are $85 for a 45min session with discounts available for packages of 4 or more.

Petra is nothing short of the quintessential professional, as well as an educator, and artist. She is genuinely a warm and lovely person. Petra quickly got to the root of what would help me, and it HAS, tremendously, even from the first lesson! I am thrilled with her expertise and look forward to many more lessons. My partner and I took seven privatelessons with Petra while on vacation in the Sarasota area. She is an excellent, reliable, punctual, and delightful teacher. Both of us felt that way. We would recommend her highly, without hesitation. If we return to the area we will take more lessons with her.
Neither of us knew how to dance and in a short period we were doing fox trot, rumba, and salsa.
She is patient and kind, with a sense of humor.

Petra is the most amazing dance instructor! I used to love dancing and haven’t taken a class in years. When I was recommended Petra as an instructor, I decided to try it out again. I do offer lesson packages which have discounts built in depending on how many lessons you would like to purchase.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every lesson varies depending on why the student would like to learn to dance. Each session is custom tailored to best fit the students needs and help them achieve their goal.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a professional ballroom dancer and instructor for over 10 years teaching for a highly respected studio in Manhattan until recently moving back to Florida.
