The ice maker in my Samsung fridge quit working, so I called these guys. The tech was super friendly and found the issue right away. He had to defrost it and then replaced the ice maker unit. He also sealed everything with silicone—he explained that warm air was leaking in through the gaps, causing condensation that would freeze and ruin the part. Everything was fixed the same day. Hi Wendy, thank you for your feedback. I’d like to clarify why the price adjusted. The initial estimate was for a standard unit, but this was a stacked front-load set. To access the pump, we had to carefully disassemble and remove the dryer mounted on top, and then reinstall it afterward. Additionally, the machine was completely full of water, which required significant extra time to manually drain before the repair could even begin. The price difference also accounted for the specific pump required for a front-load model and the standard processing fee for credit card payments. I always aim to be fair and transparent based on the actual labor required. I appreciate your business and hope the machine is working perfectly now.
