FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My goal is to make great instruction accessible, so I built the pricing that way. Class packages give you a discount over single sessions, and if you refer a friend you get 50% off your next class. Semi-private and group class options are also available if you want to share the experience or split the cost with a partner or friend. I also travel to your location, which a lot of my wedding couples love because you can practice in your own space. Reach out and we can find something that fits your timeline and your budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
No two people move the same way, so I never start with a one-size-fits-all plan. When we first work together I take time to really understand where you are, what feels natural to your body, and what you actually want to get out of the experience. From there we set realistic goals together and I shape every lesson around how you learn best. Some people pick things up by watching, some by doing, some need a lot of repetition and some just need someone to help them stop overthinking. I figure that out quickly and adjust. You will never feel like you’re falling behind or being rushed through a curriculum that wasn’t built for you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Dancing for 4 decades with my roots in ballet (National Ballet of New Jersey), then later as an adult I began Latin dance training, competing and performing for 9 years based in Los Angeles and touring nationally. Competing at the amateur through professional levels for 7 years, including Top 10 finishes at the World Latin Dance Cup and World Salsa Summit in. I have been teaching for 15 years, choreographing for competitions and showcases for 9 years. I have trained with world renowned instructors and iconic dance companies, and I am the author of “Ballet For Everybody.” The short version: this is not a side hobby for me. Dance is my life’s work, and everything I have learned over four decades goes into every single lesson I teach.
