FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will clearly define the scope of the project. We will work with the client to determine the desired look they are going for and discuss viable options for keeping the costs within their budget. Once we come to an agreement that the client would like to move forward with Market Ready Renovations, we will move on to the next steps. If materials (tiles, flooring, cabinets, etc...) have not already been chosen or if the client would like assistance with choosing the right materials for their desired look. We have professional designers staffed to assist in the process. We can provide material samples/ designs and we work with may distributors that have showrooms which we are more than happy to take clients to show what options are out there. Once everything has been pick out and ordered we will begin the demo/ installation processes bringing their dream renovations to life.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had very frustrating & disappointing experience having my own home renovated. The cleanliness & respect that the workers showed overall throughout the project were extremely poor. Later, I came to find out the workers were all subcontractors. The primary contractor did not know anyone personally that was entering my home to perform work. This irritated me, thus I began my own "in house "company where every person working on your project will be a Market Ready employee that I know and trust personally. A promise to my clients is that after the job is complete they will be 100% satisfied with not just the work that was completed, but the entire experience. From start to finish. Unforseen issues are going to happen in this business but it's the way that you communicate and take care of the client is the difference.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
1) Ensure that they are licensed, Insured and bonded!. Look them up on the MHIC website. 2) Have an actual conversation with the contractor before hand. 3) Just because a provider is the highest bidder does not mean they perform the best work. On the same token, just because a provider is the lowest bidder does not mean they perform poor work.
