I originally had a different handyman scheduled from another app when he cancelled on me! I decided to use Thumbtack and entered my project detail. Jamie contacted me right away and happened to be in the area working another job. We set up the appointment for later that day. Jamie and his partner hung my TV on the wall, they charge a flat rate for this service which was nice. Easy electronic payment and they were on their way! Great service, I plan on using them again for a light fixture I need installed.

All of the above - work quality, professionalism, responsiveness, value and punctuality apply to my experience with Absolute Home Handyman. I have been searching for a handyman 'company' for the three years I have lived in Florida. I did not want an individual. My experience with individuals is that service is hit or miss. I was spoiled by a great company in Charlotte, N.C. I am spoiled again now. I especially appreciate that what I consider minor needs were not met with an incredulous: "You really want me to change the AC filter?" I can do it, but it is difficult for me as it is in the ceiling. I had several similar needs, all doable by me but challenging due to weight or location. I am a very satisfied customer and will use Absolute Handyman again - including for more challenging repairs.
