FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, I am not the least expensive coach on Thumbtack so you'll be a great fit for my programs if you are serious about investing what it takes (time, mindset changes and money) to expedite your success. My pricing reflects the reputation and success that I have had with hundreds of leadership professionals and teams who are navigating immense change. Sometimes this can be a change in career, a significant promotion, an immense opportunity or even an impactful personal event that is keeping them stuck. Having been published on Forbes Coaches Council more than 40 times, my strategies for elevating your communication, charisma and confidence see consistent success. My pricing reflects the quality and proven results that my testimonials reflect. My coaching is not inexpensive but my clients declare over and over again that it has been the catalyst for the great things professionally that they now enjoy. Most clients who are prepping for an interview opt for a 3-5 session package. Leadership or "lane changing" clients should budget for at least 8 sessions.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The approach is customized to each client based on their immediate/ long term objectives. For those clients who are specifically looking for coaching relevant to an interview, we typically begin with a 3-session plan. The first session is dedicated to sharing the Interview Ninja™ strategy and showing the client how to implement this to showcase their own stories, experience and strengths. Sessions 2 and 3 are role playing sessions where clients practice responding to common questions asked in interviews. In each of those sessions, I'm helping them up level their responses so that they stand out and are able to confidently respond to questions without feeling like they have to have everything memorized in advance. For clients who are feeling more generally stuck, I always personalize the program to them. That said, it is imperative that we begin by helping them understand where they have been getting in their own way. I call this process "learning how to play your own inner game to win." This is a hands on experience that goes beyond the mindset/ mindfulness theory that is generally available on the internet. This involves a specific mapping process that the client and I do together so that I can help them see aspects of themselves that they have been overlooking. Once we recalibrate the client's inner game, we can then shift our focus to the personal and professional objectives. My approach is a combination of mentoring and coaching. Because of my expertise in the area of communication, many of my clients are executives who aspire to reach a level of leadership excellence in areas that standard executive training does not cover.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My formal education took place at Phillips Exeter Academy and Georgetown University where I focused on languages and diplomacy. I began my career in the food and hospitality industry. I loved the business and only left it because my jewelry making "hobby" evolved into a business before my very eyes. When I became a mother, I helped my father with the marketing and branding for his talent agency. Three decades later, I had written millions of dollars in contracts for my own performing arts agency and helped numerous artists perform on stages from Las Vegas to Hawaii to Mexico and beyond. While running my own businesses, my passion for languages, diplomacy and understanding human nature led me to continue to study a wide range of topics including personal development, Neuro-science, energy, aikido and law of attraction. I am certified in coaching, training, mastermind, gamification and neuro-linguistic programming through Success Resources, one of the largest personal development companies in the world. Today, I am CEO of GRIT Mindset Academy and just in the past 4 years alone I have helped hundreds of clients makeover their lives both personally and professionally in a way that prior to this approach they believed to be impossible. My clients have grabbed promotions including C-suite positions (even one woman who fulfilled a life dream to become the CEO of a top advertising agency). They have shifted to entirely new careers, launched new business, reinvented themselves and most importantly discovered just how possible it is to live a life that speaks to both your purpose and your passion. My work has been featured in global media such as NBC As a member of Forbes’ Coaches Council, A one of Creative Click’s Top Women in Business (2019) and Influence Digest Media’s Top 15 Coaches in Tampa (2022), Meridith is known for her expertise in helping you transform your most challenging times into your most triumphant times. And perhaps most importantly I launched this business at the incredibly young age of 58 years while serving as the 24/7 caregiver of my 22 y.o. daughter when she was unexpectedly crushed by a boulder.
