Ellonoire did an amazing job on our wedding cake. It was exactly what I wanted and the few pieces I had tasted amazing. Of course all the cake was gone by the end of night . I definelty recommend her for any occasion she was always there to answer questions and as well someone you can talk to. Wedding planning was very draining but it was worth it. My experience was absolutely perfect from the beginning to the end. The first time we met at the cake tasting, I could already tell that Ellorine was extremely passionate about her cakes and she desired nothing more than to serve up everything we wanted and more! She came prepared with design ideas and they were all so creative. The cake itself...to die for. She was able to pull off 4 different cakes in each layer and her Jamaican rum cake...I would eat it every day if I could! - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Yes, I am a member of the International Cake Exploration Societé (ICES) where they promote and provide opportunities for continuing education and development of current and future cake decorators/sugar artists.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I actually started out making cakes as a hobby, which I would donate to charitable events, children's homes and church events. Individuals attending these events would always ask me for my business card. When I told them that I do not have a business, that this is a hobby and donation, they would always encourage me to make it a business and a career. So I did. We also still donate to charitable events/organizations as a way of giving back.
- What types of customers have you worked with?We do mainly cakes, cupcakes and cookies for various events (wedding, birthday, anniversary, etc.)
