Introduction: My training stands out because I truly put my full effort into my clients! Its not just about the money I am constantly looking for and leaning new things to help my clients succeed. I also make myself available to my clients even when they aren't at the gym ( example: for nutrition advice while they are at the grocery). Training is a passion for me and I can't see myself doing anything else ! I love the interaction I have with my clients on a daily basis. I also enjoy every time a client comes in with a huge smile and bragging about how they reached theirs goals faster than they thought possible with my help.

David was the best personal trainer ever. I trained with him from August and December. I trained with him twice a week and got great results! He was very understanding and made the time fly by. I looked forward to training with him each time. He was always on time and motivated me to do my best. He also went above and beyond for my training. I asked him to type up a diet for me and he did. I also talked to some of his other clients and they all had good things to say. When he moved to Florida he also took the time to check in with me to see how I was doing with working out and he also typed up some workouts for me to follow. David is very passionate in what he does and I could tell. Thank you David I could not have done it without you. You changed my life!

Hi, My name is Tanya Harger, I'm 41yrs old and David was my personal trainer for 9 months. What a grueling, awesomely wonderful 9 months it's been from Feb '11 to Dec '11 . When I signed up to join the gym I had no intentions of getting a personal trainer but as part of the package when signing up you got 3 free sessions. As luck would have it, I got David and as time would tell I got the best out of the 4 personal trainers at the gym. I knew after 3 sessions if I wanted to be successful with my goal of losing the fluff and getting toned and in shape I had to keep David. I wasn't really overweight to begin with but I was fluffy around the middle, had no real muscle tone or endurance. Now after 9 months it's a different story and it's all because of David and his guidance, from my eating to my workouts. First I had to start keeping a daily log of what I ate everyday. That was hard at first but David was very helpful and supportive. If I had a question about what I should or shouldn't eat all I had to do was text him and he would answer. He also let me know when I pulled a no no and ate something I shouldn't. Second, we worked on getting me in shape through a combination of cardio and strength training and this was a grueling process for me at first. David was awesome with letting me know what a good job I was doing and keeping me from getting discouraged while pushing me to do more, even when I didn't think I could. I left every session whipped and drenched in sweat but feeling like I actually accomplished something good. I went from 136lbs to 126lbs, from a size 6 to a size 3/4. The fluff is gone, my stomach is flat and toned. My arms and legs have muscle definition. I was able to accomplish this because I had David in my corner guiding me, helping me and pushing me. What I liked about David's way of training compared to other trainers was he isn't just about the weights. He puts workout routines together that keep you moving and working so your heat rate stays up and you're able to burn more calories. I was able to get my cardio and strength training in a 1hr session, which was a definate plus. I was so lucky to get David those first few sessions and keep him for those 9 months. Even though he has decided to move on to bigger and better things he has given me the tools to keep going and be successful in keeping fit and healthy. Anyone who has the opportunity to train with David, should take it. You won't be disappointed. He is truly a wonderful, awesome person through and through and a terrific personal trainer to boot.

I worked out with David for 7 weeks. Prior to that, I had a different personal trainer for 4 months. The difference in trainers was amazing. Immediately I noticed the workouts were harder and David was pushing me to my limits. We talked about my goals; he devised a game plan to help me achieve them. At one point I had made a comment to him, “I had never really sweat this much in any other workout” and his reply was “then you weren’t really working out then”. The other major difference I noticed was that David kept it very professional and focused on working out and achieving the results I wanted. With past trainers it seemed a lot of personal issues, conversations that would distract from the workout. With David that never happened, which I really appreciated and enjoyed. Within the 2 months, there was significant change in my body, I was more tone then I had ever been. More importantly, all of my clothes fit better. David also kept me on track with my diet and we discussed, everything I was putting into my body, to include all foods, liquids, supplements, etc… My eating habits changed dramatically and even after he is no longer with me, I know what and when to eat. As a matter of fact one of the best parts, being a woman, my female coworkers continue to comment on how great I look, and how much weight I have lost. Overall David is a great trainer and I do not think anyone will ever be able to replace what he did for me as a whole, he is the complete package.

In July of 2011 I had undergone a second knee surgery and by late October I began realizing that by mid December I would have to participate in a Physical Training test for the U.S. Air Force. I was totally underprepared for this upcoming test, so after serious debating I decided to hire David as my personal trainer to get me ready for the test.  Immediately we sat down to discuss the overall test and what my goals would be in order to pass. Then the fun truly began. We started our program 1 month and 2 weeks before I would take the test. We began with a diet program that would help me trim back the fattiness that had onset with not working out in over a year. He really opened my eyes to what and when I was eating and what fluids I was consuming. That was a major step in my overall performance. The second step in our program was focusing on the major components so that I could reasonably overcome the test. He started me on a rigorous cardio program and always staying highly cognizant on my prior knee surgery ensuring we never pushed it beyond its limits or reinjured said knee.  He also established an intense muscular program to help me achieve high levels of upper body and abdominal strength. I can honestly say I never worked out so hard in my life and David was right there pushing me along every step of the way. We had a game plan and we stuck to it faithfully. I am proud to say that come test day, I was highly confident in my physical abilities and was able to pass the test with flying colors, even accomplishing more pushups and sit-ups then I had ever accomplished before. Not to mention that I also had lost over 10 pounds and shaved nearly 3 inches off my waist. With the test behind me, I still am using the skills and dietary plan David established, to continue to stay fit and stay healthy.

I began my journey with Faithful Fitness KC in July 2013. The idea of joining a gym was intimidating; however, Alex and David quickly put me at ease. They push me when I need to be pushed and praise me for my successes, big or small. In addition to the workout plan, they took my training to a level beyond what I expected. They assist me in developing healthier eating habits which included a trip to the grocery store to learn how to properly read food labels. They also provide mobility training to reduce the risk of injury. Thanks to their continued support I have lost 85 lbs, 48 inches, and 15% of my body fat. In addition, I found a community of friends who are equally supportive. I’m excited to continue my journey with my friends at Faithful Fitness KC. Thank you for everything!
