Just a quick preface so you understand my knowledge of pianos. I’ve been singing all my life and playing the piano since I was 7 years old and have owned many. I was in the National Conservatory of Paris by the age of 14, had a record out and toured, and when a Producer in Nashville for 20 years. My piano is a baby grand that not only needed tuned but had a couple keys and dampers that would stick and stay up. Piano was 1/4 step out of tune. Because of that he had to tune it twice so obviously additional cost which was expected but still less expensive than most others. He was very friendly and professional. He fixed the dampers (which required more than just tweaking, as he had to take at least one completely out and fix or replace a couple parts), the keys, and tuned it to a perfect 440. He was here for over 3 hours making sure everything was absolutely perfect and to my liking, and I’m VERY picky (some would say a bit on the OCD side LOL). He never made me feel rushed and always positive and with a smile. I couldn’t recommend him more. If you need your piano tuned, you can trust this guy. Don’t fall for these so called pros that want to charge you $800 and up for a full service on a piano that may not need it, and if yours does, I bet he will do a better job at half the price.
